PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, on SR-52 at the intersection of Prospect Road, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say around 5:24 p.m. on Tuesday, a Kia Forte, driven by a 38-year-old Hudson woman, turned left into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer driven by a 41-year-old New Port Richey woman.

The impact resulted in the driver of the Kia’s death and severe injuries to her three daughters – ages 16, 14, and 13. The truck driver was transported with serious injuries.
