TAMPA, Fla. – Starting at 9 a.m. today, September 11, 2024, the southbound lane of South Lois Avenue will be closed between West San Miguel Street and West San Carlos Street. This closure is necessary for the Tampa Water Department to perform maintenance on the water distribution system.
The lane will reopen at 5 p.m. each day and close again at 9 a.m. the following morning until the work is completed. Barricades and signs will guide traffic. Drivers are advised to consider alternate routes and exercise caution in the area.

The work is expected to be finished by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 13, weather permitting. The Tampa Water Department appreciates the public’s patience during this time.
