ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg Police Auto Theft Detectives apprehended a suspect in connection with a stolen high-performance SUV and seized a significant amount of illegal drugs.
Acting on information about a stolen 2018 Jeep Trackhawk, originally from Massachusetts, detectives located the vehicle and took the driver into custody. The SUV was suspected of having an altered Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
A search of the vehicle yielded a substantial quantity of methamphetamine and cocaine, along with $3,200 in cash.

The driver, Christopher Davis, 37, faces multiple charges including:
- Dealing in Stolen Property
- Trafficking in Greater than 400g of Cocaine
- Trafficking in Greater than 200g of Methamphetamine
- Grand Theft of Motor Vehicle
