PLANT CITY, Fla. – A suspect with felony warrants decided to play a game of hide-and-seek Wednesday with Hillsborough County deputies after fleeing a traffic stop. Unfortunately for him, the deputies brought some high-tech help.
Thinking he could disappear into a heavily wooded area in Plant City, the suspect quickly discovered that the long arm of the law also has wings and a very good nose.
The Sheriff’s Office Aviation unit provided a bird’s-eye view, while the K9 unit sniffed out his hiding spot in the thick brush.

Game over. Suspect apprehended. It seems even the densest woods can’t hide from determined deputies and their furry, four-legged partners.
“Thanks to the outstanding collaboration between our deputies and speciality units, this suspect had nowhere to hide,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “I’m incredibly proud of these teams for their dedication in ensuring justice was served.”
