Bradenton Man Convicted After Secretly Recording Teenager On Video

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. – A federal jury has found Joshua Scott Landers, 48, of Bradenton, Florida, guilty of multiple heinous crimes against a minor. Landers was convicted on three counts of producing child sexual abuse material and one count of possession.

The disturbing evidence presented during the trial revealed Landers’ horrifying actions: he secretly installed a video camera in the victim’s bedroom and used the footage to create and store explicit videos of the teenager.

Landers now faces a minimum of 15 years and up to 30 years in federal prison for each production offense, plus an additional 20 years for possession.
