ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Get ready for some overnight ramp closures on Gandy Boulevard at I-275 in St. Petersburg starting this Wednesday, September 4th. The closures will also take place on Thursday, September 5th, and Sunday, September 8th, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.
Ramps Affected:
- Southbound I-275 ramp (Exit 28) to Westbound Gandy Boulevard
- Westbound Gandy Boulevard Ramp to Southbound I-275

Detours:
- Southbound I-275 to Westbound Gandy: Use Exit 26, turn east on 54th Ave N, re-enter northbound I-275, continue to Exit 28, then proceed west on Gandy.
- Westbound Gandy to Southbound I-275: U-turn at Grand Ave, proceed east to the southbound I-275 entrance ramp.
Why the Closure?
These closures are needed for the ongoing SR 694 (Gandy Boulevard) repaving project. The good news is that construction is expected to wrap up this summer.
