Hamas released propaganda videos Monday showing six Israeli hostages who were recently executed, in what appears to be an effort to increase domestic pressure within Israel and gain leverage in ongoing ceasefire negotiations.
The videos call for a ceasefire and a hostage-for-prisoner exchange, and a Hebrew graphic asserts that the release of living hostages can only be achieved through negotiations, not military action.

By airing these videos, Hamas aims to intensify internal Israeli tensions and potentially force Prime Minister Netanyahu to soften his stance in ceasefire talks, particularly regarding the control of the Philadelphi Corridor, which is vital for preventing the rearming of Hamas and other Palestinian militias through smuggling routes into Gaza.
