Rachel Zamarripa, a 21-year-old Texas woman, has been charged with the murder of her 58-year-old mother, Linda Zamarripa.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office reported that Rachel, who was acting as her mother’s caregiver, called 911 to confess to stabbing a family member on Saturday.
Deputies arrived to find Linda with a fatal stab wound to the chest. Three other adults were present in the home at the time of the incident.

Rachel is currently in custody facing a first-degree murder charge, according to People.com. She is being held on $100,000 bond.
