EAGLE LAKE, Fla. – A multi-agency search is currently underway at Lake McLeod in Eagle Lake following a potential drowning call on Sunday afternoon.
Polk County Fire Rescue, along with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Polk County Sheriff’s Office, and Winter Haven Fire Department, responded to the scene shortly after 3:00 p.m.

Five boats are actively involved in the search for the missing individual, but as of now, they have not been located.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has assumed command of the incident.
