Simranjit Singh, 28, and Gusimrat Singh, 19, both from India and living in California, were indicted by a federal grand jury in Boston on charges of conspiracy and distribution of large quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine.
The two men were arrested on July 29, 2024, and remain in custody.
According to the charges, the men were part of a California-based drug trafficking organization that aimed to transport drugs to Boston.

Undercover agents arranged a deal for 65 pounds of methamphetamine, which the Singhs delivered to them in Andover. Upon their arrest, a search of their truck revealed over 400 kilogram bricks of cocaine, estimated to be worth over $10.5 million.
The charges carry serious penalties, with a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and the possibility of life imprisonment.

The case is being prosecuted as part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces Strike Force Initiative, aimed at disrupting major drug trafficking operations.
