A 16-year-old male is in custody following the fatal shooting of four young men in a Georgia park. The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire at Pleasant Grove Park on August 24th, discovering four deceased Hispanic males upon arrival.
Whitfield County Sheriff Scott Chitwood stated the motive appears to be robbery, supported by evidence found at the scene. He assured the community that the shooting seems to be an isolated incident, not gang-related.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities still seeking information about two vehicles potentially involved: an SUV and a hatchback, both possibly bearing bullet holes.
The 16-year-old suspect faces four counts of murder.
