Vice President Kamala Harris is facing criticism from some quarters amid claims she has shifted her stance on the U.S.-Mexico border wall. Critics allege that despite her recent messaging, Harris has consistently opposed the construction of a border wall and has supported policies favoring open borders throughout her career.

Harris has been vocal in the past, calling the wall “un-American,” “a waste of taxpayer money,” and “medieval.” She has also stated that a wall would not stop illegal immigration.

As a U.S. Senator, she actively worked to block former President Donald Trump’s efforts to build the wall, and as Vice President and Border Czar under the Biden administration, she halted construction of the wall that had been initiated during Trump’s presidency.

Her critics argue that Harris’s long-standing opposition to the wall contradicts any suggestion of a change in her views.

They point to her record as evidence that she has consistently supported more lenient immigration policies and opposed stricter border security measures.

As speculation continues about her current stance on border security, some have called for Harris to sit down for an interview and clarify her position on the issue.

Until then, her past actions and public statements remain the basis for much of the debate surrounding her approach to immigration and border security.
