PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Following a thorough investigation, it has been confirmed that no firearms were found on campus and there is no threat to the school. Seven Springs Middle School has resumed its regular schedule and activities, according to Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
Earlier today, the school was placed on a controlled campus status as a precautionary measure due to a student’s claim of having a firearm in their backpack.

The student was located, and no weapon was found, deputies say.
