Recent polls indicate that Republicans are more likely than Democrats to hold favorable views of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as allies of former President Donald Trump push the independent presidential candidate to drop out and support Trump.
Kennedy’s support has waned in recent weeks, with polls showing him struggling to maintain relevance in a race reshaped by the departure of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ nomination in his place. While Kennedy once garnered double-digit support in some polls, recent surveys show his backing slipping to the mid-single digits.
Despite the decline, Kennedy still enjoys greater support among Republicans than Democrats or independents, with a significant portion of his favorable ratings coming from those who also have a positive view of Trump. However, Kennedy has not solidified a strong base among independents, with many remaining undecided about him.
Kennedy is set to deliver a speech in Phoenix on Friday, where he is expected to discuss his campaign’s future.
This comes amid speculation that he may drop out and endorse Trump, a move his running mate openly discussed just days ago.

Sen. JD Vance, the Republican vice presidential nominee, has publicly welcomed the possibility of an endorsement from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. amid speculation that Kennedy may end his independent presidential bid.
Vance said he would support Kennedy joining forces with the Trump-Vance ticket.
“I think it’s a great endorsement for the president to have,” Vance told “CBS Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell. “I don’t know if it’s actually going to happen, but I’d certainly welcome it and encourage RFK to join the team.”
