Florida Governor Ron DeSantis today awarded more than $5.8 million to the Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority through the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund (JGGF). The funding will support the construction of a 3,200-foot roadway, providing direct access from the Space Coast Innovation Park to the Space Coast Regional Airport.

This investment is expected to expand business opportunities in the park and create over 900 jobs.

“Florida is the space capital of the country,” said Governor DeSantis. “Titusville and surrounding communities will benefit from these high-demand, high-wage jobs, contributing to a stronger economy for families along the Space Coast.”

Secretary of Commerce J. Alex Kelly highlighted the strategic impact of the award, noting how investments in aerospace and aviation sectors help communities like Titusville develop modern, high-wage ecosystems.

The Space Coast Innovation Park will house up to seven commercial buildings, offering 1.4 million square feet of industrial space. The project is estimated to generate a fiscal impact of over $24.6 million.

The JGGF, which promotes public infrastructure and workforce training across Florida, selected this project to meet the area’s infrastructure and job creation needs.
