Fatal Crash In New Port Richey After Driver Turns Into Oncoming Traffic: Florida Highway Patrol

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 73-year-old New Port Richey woman tragically lost her life following a two-vehicle collision on Little Road in New Port Richey Friday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, around 9:19 pm, a Buick Reatta driven by a 75-year-old man from New Port Richey was traveling southbound on Little Road. At the intersection of Heritage Lakes Boulevard, the Buick attempted a left turn and collided with a northbound Tesla Model 3 driven by a 45-year-old man from Osprey.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash. However, the 73-year-old female passenger in the Buick was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
