Bradenton Man Gets Over 20 Years For Drug Trafficking, Firearms Offense

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. – Jamal Trevorah, 31, of Bradenton, has been sentenced to over two decades in federal prison for possessing and intending to distribute various controlled substances, including cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl. Trevorah also faced charges for possessing a firearm in connection with his drug trafficking activities. He pleaded guilty to these charges in June 2022.

The case unfolded on May 4, 2021, when DEA agents observed Trevorah leaving a motel room in Manatee County carrying a shoebox. Agents tracked Trevorah as he made multiple stops, suspected to be drug deals.

After Trevorah entered a residence on 16th Street W in Bradenton, agents executed a search warrant. Inside, they found Trevorah and the shoebox, which contained 66 grams of cocaine base, 83 grams of cocaine, 40 grams of methamphetamine, and 18 grams of fentanyl.

A loaded .45 caliber handgun, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and roughly $22,540 in cash were also discovered within the residence and the motel room Trevorah had previously occupied.
