Wesley Chapel Motorcyclist Killed In US-301 Crash After Losing Control While Passing

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 24-year-old man from Wesley Chapel tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on US-301 Sunday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was riding a Kawasaki Ninja northbound on US-301, north of Dead River Road, around 6:30 PM.

The roadway was wet, and while attempting to pass other vehicles, the rider lost control of the motorcycle, causing it to overturn and veer off the road.

The motorcycle then collided with a roadside sign, resulting in fatal injuries to the rider.
