RIVERVIEW, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded to a residential structure fire on Boyette Creek Blvd Saturday.
At 8:43 PM, the dispatch center received a 911 call from a neighbor who reported smoke and flames coming from a home across the street.

Firefighters arrived within minutes of the 911 call and extinguished the flames in under 20 minutes.
Thankfully, no residents or firefighters were injured, but tragically, a dog perished despite resuscitation efforts. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
