TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists traveling northbound on North Florida Avenue should expect delays as the outside lane between East 144th Avenue and East 143rd Avenue closed at 7 AM today.
The closure is necessary for the Tampa Water Department to complete restoration work on the water distribution system following previous maintenance.

Barricades and signs will be in place to guide traffic flow and suggest alternative routes. Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution in the area and consider using different routes if possible.
The lane closure is expected to last until 5 PM on Monday, July 22nd, weather permitting. The Tampa Water Department appreciates the public’s patience as they work to complete this essential maintenance.
