The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont announced that Ronald Harris, 32, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was sentenced on Wednesday by Chief United States District Judge Geoffrey Crawford to 100 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release. Harris had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute cocaine base, fentanyl, and heroin.
Court records indicate that Harris held a trusted position within the drug trafficking operation, making regular trips between Philadelphia and Chittenden County, Vermont, from October 2021 to January 2023 to transport drugs and money.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Eugenia Cowles prosecuted the case, while Assistant Federal Public Defender Steven Barth represented Harris.
