Florida Silver Alert Issued For Missing Lakeland Woman, Marcia Moorehead

LAKELAND, Fla. – The Lakeland Police Department has canceled the Silver Alert for Marcia Moorehead, a 67-year-old woman who was last seen on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at around 7:45 p.m. She has been located and is safe.

“Great news. Ms. Moorehead has been located safe and is being reunited with her family. Thank you to everyone who shared,” said Lakeland Police.

Ms. Moorehead departed from her residence in the 4100 block of El Camino Real West in a 2012 gray Hyundai Tucson with Florida Tag GPQB10. The vehicle is noted to have minor front-end damage.

She was believed to be heading to Southgate Publix to pick up prescriptions but never retrieved them. Concerns grew when family members were unable to reach her.

Ms. Moorehead stands approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. No description of her clothing is available at this time.
