ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 20-year-old female driver sustained injuries in a hit-and-run collision on Interstate 4 westbound at mile marker 67 on Saturday, July 14, 2024, around 11:00 AM.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the victim’s 2016 Hyundai Tucson was struck from behind by a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro when the Camaro’s driver attempted to change lanes. The impact caused the Tucson to veer off the road and overturn.

Three occupants of the Camaro fled the scene on foot and were later picked up by an unidentified gray or silver vehicle. Witnesses described the suspects as black or Hispanic males, possibly in their early 20s. Photos of the suspects and video footage of the crash have been released by FHP.
The FHP is urging anyone with information about the crash or the suspects to call *FHP (*347) or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
FHP Reminds Drivers: Leaving the Scene of a Crash is Illegal
Following this incident, the Florida Highway Patrol is reminding all drivers that leaving the scene of a crash resulting in property damage, injury, or death is a crime. If you are involved in a crash, it is crucial to:
