Trio Of Juveniles Arrested In Spring Hill For “Ding, Dong, Ditch” Turned Burglary

SPRING HILL, Fla. – Three juveniles were arrested in Spring Hill on Friday after allegedly escalating a game of “Ding, Dong, Ditch” into attempted burglary.

Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies responded to two 9-1-1 calls from residents on Bayshore Court and Sunrise Court reporting unknown individuals attempting to force entry into their homes by kicking their front doors.

Deputies quickly located three suspects matching the descriptions provided by the victims. Identified as Xavier Rosario (13), Ayden Chandler (17), and Natalee Libenson (14), the juveniles admitted to playing “Ding, Dong, Ditch” that evolved into kicking doors due to boredom.

All three were arrested and charged with two counts of Burglary of a Dwelling.

Following processing at the Hernando County Detention Center, they were released into the custody of their parents as per the Department of Juvenile Justice’s instructions.
