Florida Man Gets 3 Felonies, 4 Misdemeanors After Sleeping In Taco Bell Drive-Thru

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Lakeland man has been charged after deputies found him sleeping in the drive-thru line at Taco Bell.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a call at a Lakeland Taco Bell on Saturday morning around 10:00 regarding a suspicious individual sleeping in a running car in the drive-thru.

The individual, identified as Marcus Jenkins, 34, displayed signs of intoxication and had an open bottle of Crown Royal in his vehicle, along with fentanyl and marijuana.

Clutched in Jenkins’ hands were a Taco Bell receipt, a stick of gum, and a Florida ID card that belonged to another man, deputies say.

Jenkins was arrested and charged with DUI, three felonies, and four misdemeanors.
