Authorities are searching for two dangerous murder suspects who escaped from the Claiborne County Detention Center early Friday morning.
According to the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department, 24-year-old Tyrekennel Collins and 18-year-old Dezarrious Johnson escaped around 2:20 am. Both men were previously charged with murder and are considered a threat to the public.
Escape Details
Sheriff Edward Goods reported that surveillance footage captured Collins and Johnson climbing through a ceiling panel in a common area of the jail. They then reportedly used bedsheets to lower themselves to the ground outside the building.

Public Urged to Be Cautious
Law enforcement officials have not yet apprehended the escapees. They warn residents to be cautious and avoid contact with Collins and Johnson. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to call 911 or the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department immediately.
