Florida Republicans took another 39K votes from the Democrats overall, in the latest update. By Friday, Polk County will join Manatee, Pasco, and Sarasota counties in putting the county firmly into Republican hands.
By the weekend, Tampa Bay will likely go to the Republicans as well.
More than 7.3M Florida citizens have voted thus far; of this, over 1.5M Independents have voted; this is significant.
Although Republicans dominate Early-Voting in Pinellas, they lag behind smaller counties, such as Pasco and Polk.
