Former University of South Florida football star S.J. Green, a resident of Brandon, Florida, has been chosen for the Canadian Football Hall of Fame (CFL) induction. His day of enshrinement is September 14.
After serving as a wide receiver for the Bulls from 2003 to 2006, Green played 13 seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Toronto Argonauts (2017–19) and Montreal Alouettes (2007–09 & 2010–16). In his career, he registered 30 games with 100 yards or more from the field of reception, 60 touchdown receptions, and 716 receptions for 10,222 yards.
Green is ranked 12th all-time in receptions and is one of just 18 players in CFL history to reach 10,000 yards receiving.

Green competed for three different teams that won the Grey Cup: Toronto in 2017 and Montreal in 2009 and 2010. He was selected as a CFL East Division All-Star eight times, from 2011 to 2015 in Montreal and from 2017 to 2019 in Toronto. He was named a CFL All-Star twice (in 2013 and 2017).
As the Bulls moved from Conference USA to the Big EAST, Green was a primary target for four seasons. He started as a true freshman at USF in 2004 and helped the team win its first-ever bowl game in the 2006 PapaJohns.com Bowl. At the end of his career, he had five touchdowns and 864 yards from 62 receptions.
