President Joe Biden has pushed the radical climate-change agenda harder than any of his predecessors.
To allegedly save the planet, Biden blocked new oil and gas production; targeted Big Oil with massive new taxes; mandated greater sales of electric vehicles; promised to build a half-million new EV charging stations; went after a ban on gas-powered appliances such as stoves, water heaters, and washing machines; and promoted dubious wind- and solar-energy projects.
And through it all, he has also promoted the end-times, existential threat narrative — even as he refuses to crack down on major polluters like China and India and says nothing about wealthy liberals flouting all of his policies.

And it’s all backfiring.
As The Hill reported earlier this week, “Fewer Americans today see climate change as a ‘very serious’ problem than they did three years ago.”
That reflected findings in Monmouth University poll taken last month that revealed a 10-point drop in the number of Americans who say climate change is a “very serious” problem.
In September 2021, 56% agreed with that statement.
Last month, that number stood at 46%.
The pollster also recorded a drop, albeit less steep, when the question was broadened to include those who see climate change as “very serious” or “somewhat serious.”
In that case, the overall total dipped from 70% in 2021 to 66% today.
Patrick Murray, director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute, told The Hill, “Most Americans continue to believe climate change is real. The difference in these latest poll results is a decline in a sense of urgency around this issue.”
Ironically, as we’re told we must save the planet for future generations, it is the young who have most opted out of the climate-change hysteria.
The poll found that those who agree climate change is a “very serious” problem among adults ages 18-34 fell from 67% in 2021 to just 50% now.
In comparison, respondents ages 35-54 saw a 4-point drop among the “‘very serious’ problem” group, while that fell 10 points among adults 55-plus.
Even Democrats are turning on their leader.
Among Democrats, 77% believe climate change remains a “very serious” problem. Three years ago, that number was 85%.
As for pivotal independents, they, too, are not seeing the urgency. In 2021, 56% of those in the middle agreed climate change was “very serious.” Now, it’s 43%.
Meanwhile, more Americans simply believe climate change is a figment of the imagination of Greta Thunberg, John Kerry, most Hollywood celebrities, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and other leftists.
The number of people who say climate change is “not happening” rose from 18% in 2021 to 23% at present.
Perhaps one reason for the decline is that most people see the radicals themselves going overboard.
Despite the alleged claim of a disastrous rise in the sea level, former President Barack Obama, for example, bought a $12 million mansion on an island.
Kerry, who serves as Biden’s climate czar, routinely flies around the world on private jets to jaw about saving the earth from the evil fossil-fuel industry.
As the Tampa Free Press reported this week, Amazon founder and new Florida man Jeff Bezos pumped $60 million into a project to support lab-grown meat, only to watch Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis snuff that by banning in the state the production or sale of “fake meat.”
And then there’s the ridiculous, such as “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin last month blaming both the solar eclipse and an earthquake on climate change.
