PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Pinellas County Detectives are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Palm Harbor.
On Tuesday, at approximately 8:24 a.m., deputies responded to 4192 Moreno Drive in Palm Harbor after a 911 call was received reporting a male and a female had been shot.
Once deputies arrived on the scene, they located 52-year-old Stacey McLean deceased in a bedroom. Deputies also located 26-year-old Darryl Serraj deceased in a separate bedroom, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to detectives, Serraj was in a romantic relationship with McClean’s daughter for approximately five years, and their relationship recently ended.
Detectives say Serraj broke into the residence, murdered McLean, and then took his own life.
An autopsy will be conducted, and the Medical Examiner’s Office will work to determine the cause and manner of death.
