TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people on drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop.
According to deputies, on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 11:30 p.m., Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on Waters Avenue.
After establishing probable cause, patrol deputies, with the assistance of the K9 Unit, searched the vehicle, finding more than 200 grams of Methamphetamine, more than 50 grams of Fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies also seized over $1,800 in cash due to this arrest.

“This arrest sends a clear message: drug trafficking will not be tolerated in Hillsborough County, and we will relentlessly pursue those who engage in illicit activities and bring them to justice,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “I commend our deputies for their dedication in combating drug crimes and ensuring the well-being of our residents.”
Corey Cresta, 43, was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, one count of Trafficking in Methamphetamine 200 grams or more and one count of Resisting Arrest without Violence.
Nicole Wilder, 34, was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine 200 grams or more, Trafficking in Fentanyl 28 grams or more, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Resisting Arrest without Violence.
