A Florida woman has been charged with embezzling an article from the U.S. Mail by a U.S. Postal Service employee.
If convicted, Rekisha Duckworth, 43, Jacksonville, faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison.
According to the indictment, on March 1, 2023, Duckworth, a U.S. Postal Service employee, stole a retail store gift card and a bracelet from a mail package.

The United States Postal Service’s Office of Inspector General investigated this case, which will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Laura Cofer Taylor.
