21-Year-Old Man Arrested After Shooting 3 People In Ybor City Parking Garage

TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is investigating a shooting at a parking garage along the 1500 block of East 5th Avenue.

Shortly before 3:00 am, officers on patrol nearby in Ybor heard shots being fired from the garage.

Officers immediately responded and located three shooting victims. The three adult male victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sunny E. Wallace, 21, was quickly located and arrested as he attempted to flee the parking garage, police say.

Wallace has been arrested in connection to this shooting, with additional charges pending. A gun was recovered from the vehicle at the time of his arrest.

The preliminary investigation revealed the shooting followed an argument between the victims and the suspect.
