Hillsborough County Parks To Host Several Easter Egg Hunts In March

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Easter egg hunts have long been popular with kids and families, and Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation will host several of them in the next few weeks, including a glow-in-the-dark egg hunt.

Hillsborough egg hunts include:

Progress Village Egg Hunt: March 16, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Progress Village Park, 8701 Progress Blvd., Tampa, FL 33619. This event features egg hunts for children ages 1-5 starting at 11 a.m., and for children ages 6-9, starting at 12:30 p.m.

Balm Easter Egg Hunt: March 22, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Balm Park Recreation Center, 14747 Balm/Wimauma Rd., Wimauma, FL 33598. Families with children ages 1-12 are invited to join this event that will feature egg hunts, crafts and activities, and photos with the Easter Bunny (bring your own camera).

Glow-In-The-Dark Egg Hunt: March 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Gardenville Park & Recreation Center, 6219 Symmes Rd., Gibsonton, FL 33534. This is free family event will feature community vendors, games, raffles, and three separate egg hunts for children 3-4 years old, 5-7 years old, and 8-9 years old.

 Mango Egg Hunt: March 23, 9:30 a.m.-noon, Mango Recreation Center, 11717 Clay Pit Rd., Seffner, FL 33584.  Children ages 1-5 can kick off the festivities with an egg hunt at 10:30 a.m., followed by a second round for kids aged 6-9 at 11 a.m. Capture the magic with timeless photos alongside the Easter Bunny, available from 11 a.m. to noon. Engage your little ones in creative crafts and activities starting at 9:30 a.m., ensuring a morning filled with laughter and joy until noon.

Bealsville Egg Hunt: March 30, 1-3 p.m., Bealsville Park & Recreation Center, 5009 Nesmith Rd., Plant City, FL 33567. Egg hunts for ages 1-5 will start at 1:30 p.m., egg hunts for children ages 6-10 will start at 2 p.m. In addition to the egg hunt, each group will have one golden egg to hunt for; golden egg finders will receive a gift. Crafts and activities will be available throughout the event, and all participants will receive a candy bag.
