We have evidence of another crack job by a pro-Biden spin team in the media.
This time, the Associated Press’s “fact-checkers” are scolding former President Donald Trump for a claim about President Joe Biden’s own immigrant relocation plan—even as a federal judge upheld that Biden could continue doing what the AP said was not happening.
The AP’s latest venture into Democratic cheerleading began on Super Tuesday when Trump, during a victory speech, ripped Biden for flying more than 300,000 immigrants into the heart of the country without telling anyone where they wound up.

“Today, it was announced that 325,000 people were flown in from parts unknown. Migrants were flown in. Airplane – not going through borders,” Trump said.
“Not going through that great Texas barrier that I was with the Governor of Texas Greg Abbott the other day and we were looking at the job they’re doing.”
“It was unbelievable,” Trump continued. “I said that must be a mistake.”
“They flew 325,000 migrants. Flew them in, over the borders, into our country. So that really tells you where they’re coming from,” Trump added in reference to Biden and the Democrats. “They want open borders and open borders are going to destroy our country. We need borders and we need free and fair elections.”
The AP calvary rode in to save Biden, posting on X on Thursday that Trump’s assertions were “unfounded.”

However, the outlet admitted that Trump was right in the process.
At issue was a report by the Center for Immigration Studies, which supports tougher immigration standards.
In its own findings, the CIS said Biden had deposited the more than 300,000 immigrants at 43 airports across the nation but declined to ID them. The administration cited law enforcement concerns in shielding that information.
The AP then claimed Trump was wrong. But not about the number of people let in, or the flights themselves.
Rather, it was because he said the migrants came from “parts unknown.”
As the AP reported, U.S. Customs and Border Protection routinely discloses how many people from four select countries are allowed to enter America because they are granted special status before they are brought in.

As of Jan. 26, the agency cleared 327,000, including 67,000 Cubans, 126,000 Haitians, 53,000 Nicaraguans and 81,000 Venezuelans, according to the AP.
They are considered parolees under a 1952 law that Biden has run wild with. And the AP’s defense somehow made the issue worse.
As the AP reported, “Biden has exercised parole authority far more than any of his predecessors. … Biden has granted entry — by land or air — to at least 1 million people using parole, not just the 327,000 who flew from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua or Venezuela through December.”
In defending Biden, the AP also noted, “People admitted into the country under parole have no path to citizenship.”
Yet they have no incentive to leave either. While they can stay up to two years, it’s unclear how they would be forced back home, especially if Biden is re-elected.
On Friday, the thing the AP suggested was “unfounded” was actually blessed by a federal judge.
Another branch of the AP reported that a federal judge rejected efforts by Texas and 20 other GOP-led states to crush the program because of the costs incurred in absorbing the parolees.
An appeal is expected.
