68-Year-Old Brooksville Woman Killed in Tuesday Car Crash

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – An early morning car accident claimed the life of a 68-year-old Brooksville woman.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, around 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, the woman was traveling southbound on Andrew Lane approaching Farran Street. Troopers say she lost control of her car which departed the roadway and entered the east shoulder where the vehicle struck a tree and overturned. The woman suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

There were no passengers in the vehicle and no other vehicles involved in this accident.
