CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Police traffic homicide investigators have charged a Safety Harbor teen with vehicular homicide in connection with a crash that left a man dead.
Tyler Graham, 19, was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on Saturday, according to police.
The crash occurred Jan. 26 in the northbound lanes of U.S. 19 at Seville Boulevard. Witnesses reported that the driver of a 2010 Toyota Tacoma was driving recklessly, speeding, and changing lanes when he struck another vehicle, causing it to flip.

A passenger in that car, Stephen Douglas De-Meza, 72, of Dunedin, died after being taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa.
Graham told officers after the crash that he had been driving 80 to 85 mph and was rushing to get home between classes.
