Man Who Was Found Lying In St. Petersburg Intersection Dies, Police Say It Is A Homicide

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla – St. Petersburg police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that happened early Monday morning. But say the incident was deliberate.

Investigators say at 2:39 a.m., police were called to an adult man who was lying in the intersection at 7th Ave. S. and 12 St. S. Rescue was called, but the man died at the scene.

The incident is now being investigated as a homicide.

Investigators determined that the vehicle driver deliberately struck the victim.
