A registered sexual predator in Florida is back behind bars on new charges after a follow-up investigation led to the discovery of child pornography on an unregistered phone.
Brad A. Perry, 35, Deland, was the subject of an investigation by Volusia Sheriff’s detectives following a tip about an unregistered Facebook account.
It is legally required for registered sexual offenders and predators in Florida to register not only their addresses but also all of their phone numbers, vehicles, social media accounts, workplaces, and more.

While looking into the tip, investigators found Perry had an unregistered car, a job, and a cell phone.
Investigators also discovered Perry had given a 17-year-old girl his unregistered cell phone number.
When detectives obtained a search warrant for the phone, they found multiple explicit images of children aged between one and ten years old, along with several other unreported social media accounts.
Perry was arrested again Wednesday on five more counts of failing to register as a sexual predator, in addition to thirty additional counts of possessing child pornography.
