During the detective’s interview with the missing woman, she explained how she had connected with a man and his girlfriend on social media, who subsequently brought her to Florida.
The victim went on to explain that she was coerced into engaging in sexual acts. Detectives discovered messages sent to the victim by the man, urging her to “hustle” for him, implying for her to engage in commercial sexual activity.
Additionally, the man solicited her to sell explicit content online and asked about her willingness to host parties involving sexual activities.
On February 21, 2024, deputies arrested Andre Scott, 39, on a charge of Human Trafficking for Commercial Sex Act (Victim Mentally Defect or Incapacitated).

A mental health professional from Florida Mentor arrived at the scene to provide care for the victim and coordinated the reunification process with her guardian from Missouri.
