HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Dana Galen, the Chair of the Hillsborough County Republican Executive Committee (HCREC) has resigned her position due to health concerns.
In her announcement to the membership, Ms. Galen stated: “It is with sadness that I write you today to let you know that I cannot complete the mission as Chair of the Hillsborough County Republican Party. I realize I would not be able to provide the service this great county deserves. Thank you for allowing me the needed privacy in this situation, and your prayers will be greatly appreciated.”
Rick Kunz, the Vice-Chair of the HCREC, has announced that an election for Chair will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, during the monthly meeting of the Executive Committee.
