TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department and the FHP are working on a serious traffic crash at I-275 southbound north of the Dale Mabry Hwy exit, involving an overturned dump truck filled with sand and another vehicle.
Police say sand and diesel fuel have spilled onto the highway, and two of the southbound lanes of I-275 north of the Dale Mabry Hwy exit are closed at this time.
Traffic in the area will be affected for several hours. Please avoid the area if possible.
