HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The precautionary boil water notice issued by Hillsborough County Water Resources on Dec. 27 for the HCPUD Northwest potable water system has been lifted for most customers.
The notice for the majority of the area was lifted today after testing showed the water meets quality standards.
Customers on two streets, Devonshire Woods Place and Evershine Street, are still under a precautionary boil water notice.
Hillsborough County Water Resources had issued the precautionary boil water notice due to a water main break that resulted in pressure in the County’s water distribution system dropping below the required regulatory level.
