Fresh off another “swatting” attempt on Christmas Day, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene posted new details of another assassination threat and questioned why federal authorities are literally phoning in the investigation of her suspect while they subject the Jan. 6, 2021 protesters to extensive, unrelenting manhunts.
Greene, a Georgia Republican, posted on X on Monday screenshots of an exchange that apparently took place between Greene’s boyfriend, Brian Glenn, and a man identified on social media as Ben McClean, who she believes is behind two swatting attempts at her home since Dec. 21.
Swatting is the act of making a false emergency call to draw armed officers or SWAT teams to someone’s home.

During the conversation, McLean posts to Glenn that he would “f—ing smash your brains out on a curb,” and that also would like to “curb check” former President Donald Trump’s skull.
McLean then said, “Tell Marjorie that a small, high velocity projectile will soon find it’s (sic) way into her cranium.” McLean also referenced a serial killer named Ed Gein, who was known for skinning the corpses of his victims to make clothing, and wondered about making a “parasol” from Greene’s skin.
Greene’s series of posts also indicated that the congresswoman would contact the FBI, to which McLean replies, “Surely the FBI wouldn’t be on your side,” along with a middle-finger emoji. McLean then suggests that Glenn contact an FBI agent only identified as “Priest,” and added, “They’re recruiting me,” with another middle-finger emoji.
Greene’s thread then included a summary of a call provided by the U.S. Capitol Police, which contacted McLean about his threats.
In its response to Greene, the USCP reported that McLean claimed he really did not intend to harm Greene or harass or scare anyone, is not conspiring with anyone who does want to hurt her, has no plans to travel to Washington or Greene’s hometown in Georgia, and doesn’t have “access” to a “high-velocity projectile.”

McLean claimed to the USCP that his messages were just an attempt to “warn that society is angry with the MAGA movement.”
On X later Monday, Greene expressed frustration that the phone call would be the extent of the USCP’s investigation, as McLean was not arrested.
“The outright absurdity of this email response and the fact that they have not arrested this guy is shocking, thankfully I’m a gun owner,” she posted. “But compare it to how the FBI and DOJ treats J6’ers, Pres Trump, and their political enemies.”
“Why doesn’t the FBI just call J6’ers on the phone, like the man who says he wants to shoot me in the head and use my skin to make a parasol, and just ask them about what they said on January 6, 2021 instead of hunting them down and locking them up doing the bidding of the DOJ who continues to issue arrest warrants almost everyday for people who said the 2020 election was stolen.”
“Incredible double standard.”
She then asked, “Is the FBI recruiting a man who is threatening to kill a member of congress (sic) and crush the skull of President Trump?”
Continuing, Greene pointed out that she has been swatted eight times, yet the FBI, which has hunted down and arrested more than 1,000 J6 rioters from video footage, “can’t seem to figure out who is responsible for the swatting and says the law doesn’t allow them to track them down.”
“The FBI can do so many things, has even abused FISA to spy on hundreds of thousands of Americans, but can not figure out who wants me killed by a hail of bullets fired by a SWAT team responding to murder-suicide calls supposedly coming from me,” Greene posted. “Thankfully, my local police are far too smart, know me well, and know exactly what these swatting calls are.

Greene added that she knows some “good” FBI agents “are completely sick and tired of the Biden administration they work under,” and that she soon will file a bill that would allow authorities to track down swatters.
Concluding her thread, Greene wrote, “Thank you to everyone who has sent well wishes for me and my family. I will never stop fighting for what is right and I will always put America first! No matter what or who attacks me. Merry Christmas!! Christ is KING!!!”
