This initiative, known as “Operation Get Stuffed,” involves multiple agencies working together on November 22 throughout Hillsborough County.
In collaboration with the Tampa Police Department and the Florida Highway Patrol, HCSO deputies will keep an eye out for any drivers who might be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Sheriff Chad Chronister emphasizes the importance of safety during this holiday weekend. “Thanksgiving is a time to enjoy the company of family and friends, but it is crucial to prioritize safety. “Please, plan accordingly by designating a sober driver or utilizing a ride-share option if alcohol is involved. By taking responsibility for our actions, we can ensure that our Thanksgiving memories are filled with positive experiences.”
