HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A Lakeland man was killed in a crash on Monday around 4:00 p.m., according to Florida Highway Patrol.
According to FHP, a Ford F150 was driving northbound on Jackson Road when it turned left at the intersection with US-301 and struck a 71-year-old Lakeland man riding a motorcycle.
The Lakeland man was transported to a local hospital but later died from injuries suffered in the crash.

It was not reported if the driver of the F-150, a 50-year-old Thonotosassa man, sustained any injuries.
