Nora Baker was recently granted a dream from the Sunshine Foundation for a bedroom makeover. Nora lives with the challenges of Level 3 severe autism.

“Nora has been through so much this year medically and has not been able to leave the house as much as she is used to.  The gift of a room makeover and sensory gym has been incredible. Nora is in love with everything.  Her favorite piece is her new loft bed playhouse.  She loves to play both on top as well as hang out inside the playhouse underneath. Thank you so much for making this special dream come true!” said Nora’s mother, Margaret of Sioux Falls.

Sunshine Foundation answers dreams to children with life-long severe, chronic illnesses and conditions such as: spina bifida, cerebral palsy, level 3 severe autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, severe epilepsy, Sickle Cell Disease, blindness, deafness, trauma from abuse, and others.

To make these dreams a reality for children that may be turned away from other wish-granting organizations that require a life-threatening or critical diagnosis, Sunshine Foundation relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations, and corporations.

Nora’s “Dream Come True” was made possible through a generous donation from the Addie’s Annual Royal Cupcake Stand.

You can also make dreams come true by donating at www.sunshinefoundation.org.
