Code Enforcement Board – four vacancies
The Code Enforcement Board conducts hearings related to the enforcement of any codes or ordinances of the City. The Board consists of seven members and appointments to the Board are approved by City Council. More information: www.stpete.org/ceb
Health Facilities Authority – two vacancies
The Health Facilities Authority (HFA) performs the functions to provide a method for tax exempt financing and refinancing for not-for-profit organizations authorized by law to provide hospital, nursing home or other types of health related services.
The Authority conducts the public hearings required by the federal Tax Exempt Financing Reform Act (i.e., TEFRA hearings) for health facilities projects. More information: www.stpete.org/HFA
Nuisance Abatement Board – five vacancies
The Nuisance Abatement Board hears and decides cases involving properties in the City allegedly being used for illegal activity. This Board plays an important role in reducing crime and improving the safety and welfare of St.
