15-Year-Old Arrested For 2nd Degree Attempted Murder After Firing 20 Rounds At 2 People

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - St. Petersburg Police arrested 15-year-old Savion Nixon and charged him with two counts of attempted 2nd-degree murder and one count of violation of probation.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg Police arrested 15-year-old Savion Nixon and charged him with two counts of attempted 2nd-degree murder and one count of violation of probation.

On October 31st, shortly before 2 p.m., investigators say he fired approximately 20 rounds at two people in the area of 19th Avenue South and 49th Street.

The victims were able to run away from him, and no one was hurt.

The victims and Nixon were known to each other, police say.
