HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County is asking residents for input on plans to add pickleball courts at Mango Park and Recreation Center.
Residents can attend an open house at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Mango Recreation Center, 11717 Clay Pit Rd., Seffner, FL 33584. Residents can also register their opinions through the County’s engagement and education hub, HCFLGov.net/HCEngage, from Nov. 1-15.

Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation plans to add eight pickleball courts at Mango Park and Recreation Center. The $600,000 project will feature LED lighting, sidewalk improvements, and additional seating areas around the courts. The pickleball courts will be open from sunrise to 10 p.m.
In addition to the pickleball courts, the County is looking for suggestions on future projects at this park.
These projects are not currently funded, but the information will help with future improvements. Such improvements could include, but are not limited to, walking paths, fitness zones, and additional shelters.
